A UI licence should explain who can use the source, what clients receive, what you can redistribute and what happens when access ends. For a developer or agency using coding agents, those details decide whether a kit fits the way you deliver work.
DesignPrompts Pro covers the subscribing organisation without a numerical seat limit. It permits unlimited own projects and client work while active, including handing over finished work that clients may keep changing. The Terms describe the scope and retained-use rules.
Seats
A seat usually counts a person working with the licensed materials, not a visitor to the finished site. Count the people who need source access before comparing prices.
These published terms were checked November 5, 2026:
| Kit | People covered |
|---|
| DesignPrompts Pro | The subscribing organisation; no numerical seat limit |
| Shadcnblocks | Standard: one user. Team: up to 10 employees and contractors |
| Shadcn Studio | Basic and Pro: one user. Team: up to 15 |
| ReUI | Personal: one. Team: five. Growth: ten. Enterprise: organisation-wide |
| Aceternity UI Pro | Multi-person use needs the appropriate team licence; its Team plan lists 10 members |
| Magic UI Pro | Individual offer; the licence does not state a numerical team allowance |
For DesignPrompts, sharing stays within the organisation holding Pro. A client receiving finished work does not become part of that licensed team.
Client work
Permission to build a client site and permission for the client's developers to keep editing the purchased source are separate questions.
DesignPrompts explicitly permits both finished-work delivery and continued client editing. The client does not receive catalogue access or rights to reuse a System in other projects. Terms.
ReUI allows commissioned client work, but a client or later agency editing the paid ReUI source needs its own licence or OEM coverage. Magic UI's licence permits commercial use but restricts third-party transfers without clearly specifying client source handoff. Check these cases against the current vendor terms before delivery. ReUI licence, Magic UI licence.
For example, an agency delivering a DesignPrompts-based landing page can hand over the repository so the client's developers can maintain that finished page. The client cannot take the included System and use it as a kit for unrelated sites.
Redistribution
Delivering a finished site is different from selling the underlying components as a kit. DesignPrompts excludes standalone redistribution and supplying competing registries, template shops or design-asset services. Editing the files does not remove that restriction. Terms.
Paid licences differ from open-source licences. The shadcn/ui MIT licence, for example, permits redistribution with its required notices. Choose a licence that covers the product you intend to distribute.
Third-party fonts and other assets retain their own licences. Read the notices supplied with the package as well as the UI vendor's terms.
Updates
Separate the right to keep using files you received from access to new downloads and releases.
DesignPrompts Pro includes installs, downloads, updates and new Systems while subscribed. It renews until cancelled and stays active through the paid period. After it ends, you retain use of files in the projects you used them in, while new installs, downloads and updates stop. Terms.
Shadcnblocks advertises lifetime access and updates for its paid plans. Aceternity offers both one-year and lifetime access. A payment described as one-time can therefore cover different access periods. Shadcnblocks pricing, Aceternity pricing.
Refunds
Check the request window, conditions and whether approval is discretionary. Neither a subscription nor a one-time payment implies a trial.
DesignPrompts handles refunds case by case, with no guaranteed window or approval. ReUI accepts requests within seven days and decides them at its discretion. Magic UI and Aceternity publish no-refund terms. DesignPrompts Terms, ReUI policy, Magic UI licence, Aceternity policy.
What DesignPrompts' Pro licence says
Pro lets you share files and the licence key within your organisation, give the files and prompts to your coding agent, change them and deliver finished client work. That makes the purchase useful for a team actively building product and client sites from LandingKit and Systems.
Before buying any kit, answer these questions for your project:
- Who needs to install or edit its source?
- Who maintains the delivered client work?
- Are you shipping a finished product or redistributing reusable source?
- What access and use remain after cancellation or expiry?
Read the DesignPrompts Terms, then compare Pro's contents and plans with the work your organisation needs to deliver.
